PETE CLARK
Pete's taste in music is eclectic but a constant favourite has always been progressive rock. He spent his formative musical years learning to play bass lines by prog rock greats Chris Squire, Geddy Lee and Mike Rutherford. His love for prog has led to his current involvement with tribute bands “What The Floyd” and “Progfathers”. He has played with many original bands since the early 1980's. The highlight of his recording career so far is the 2018 release by producer Tony Lowe’s ESP Project - “22 Layers of Sunlight” on which he played bass guitar on all tracks. The album featured Mark Brzezicki of Big Country on drums and Peter Coyle of The Lotus Eaters on vocals. Pete has also recorded bass on the ESP Project releases that followed: "Three" & "The Rising". He has been a professional musician since 1989 and has performed with numerous cover/function bands including T-BASS where he met his singer/songwriter wife, Fran. Together they set up their own label (Body & Soul) and have produced and released three solo albums for Fran, “To Fly” (2007), “Beautiful People” (2013) and “Sketches” (2020).
